      Flight Attendant Interview

      Apr 23, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Frontier Airlines

      Interview

I went to one of the open hiring events in Denver at the end of March 2017. I went through the first round of interviews, then a second round of interviews. After that, I was given an offer to attend training on April 24. Not even a week later, I got an email saying they had overbooked the April 24 training and that I would have a place in the May 22 training session. Then on April 21, I got an email saying that they had overbooked the May 22 training session, and that I would be placed in a pool of candidates for up to one year to be contacted according to Frontier's hiring needs. Do they realize it's bad business to give people offers to attend training with the hope of getting hired, and then to postpone it, and then to pretty much put everything on hold? I had already told my previous employer that I was leaving, as well as members of my family and friends that I had this new experience ahead of me. I had rearranged my class schedule and had already started preparing for the training and the potential move as they had told us to do (purchased training uniforms, researched places to live in new cities). This is POOR PLANNING on the part of the recruiting team - how hard can it be to forecast how many people you need to hire and not go over that limit? So disappointed in Frontier - it reflects so much on the kind of company they are. I would NOT recommend applying. I'm not sure I want to work for a company that treats their potential future employees in such a way.
