I filled out an application online. A few days later, I received an email invitation for a phone interview. I picked a date on their online calendar. I prepared by looking at the interview questions posted on glassdoor. It was very helpful. On the day of my phone interview, the recruiter was very prompt with her call. She was very nice and professional. At the end of the phone call, she asked me if I were invited to a F2F and were offered a position, would I be prepared to accept. Of course, I said yes. So she invited me for a F2F in Denver, 3 weeks from the time of my phone interview. I was excited. About a week later, I realized that the potential timing of training would not work with my current job. (I had been told that it can take months from the time you apply to get an interview or get hired with airlines, so I started the process early.) So, I called them and regretfully withdrew my name. Some might say I should have gone on to the F2F, but even though I may not have been offered a position, I took her question seriously and thought it would not be right for me to go, if I could not accept. When I called, they were very kind and told me I could reapply in 6 months if I wanted.
