      Flight Attendant Interview

      Oct 26, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Frontier Airlines (New York, NY) in Sep 2021

      Interview

Had us be at the event by 7:30am and could check in as soon as 7am. We lined up to find our name tags w/ numbers and then again to hand our resume to one of the recruiters. We were seated in a room with just chairs which they didn't even have enough of (very unprofessional of them to be unprepared). A little bit over 200 people attended which apparently was the largest group of ppl to ever attend. They did a short presentation (not very informative btw) and introduced 20ish recruiters. The interviewing process started right after where they called us in order by number 19 ppl at a time. Was done in the form of "speed dating" as in the 19 candidates had to switch between 19 interviewers with different questions which you only had one minute to answer before you had to go to the next one. It happened very fast and it probably is more efficient then one on one tbh. While the interviews were going on, back in the room we were all introducing ourselves in the front and answering one of 3 ice breaker questions given. Took a while to get to everyone but when finished we just did Qs & As. Once they had finished interviewing everyone, recruiters took about 15min making decisions and if you were the first group to be called, Congrats, you got an offer. If you're still in the room sitting, I'm sorry. They actually had us believe for a second we had hope by telling us about the rest of the process and ended it with "unfortunately we will be moving on with other candidates". They also mentioned that when they flew us in to Denver, everything was planned and the flight attendants were supposed to acknowledge us and talk to us. Mines never did, they didn't even batt an eye at me and I unfortunately I was also far from the middle isle and didn't want to annoy the people in my row so I couldn't even reach out to them to start with. A friend I met at the event said he's flight attendants acknowledged him and even had him introduce himself. Lasted till 1pm ish. Ice breaker questions..
