The interview process went in stages. I was contacted initially by a recruiting firm hired by Fuchs to find a candidate. The interviews went as follows: 1. Initial consult and screening by the recruiting firm. 2. Phone interview with the recruiter. 3. Phone discussion with recruiter about structure, job description, and timeline with the recruiting firm. 4. Phone interview with the hiring manager. 5. Online test and assessment from HR. 6. Phone interview/discussion with HR. 7. Phone interview with VP of sales. 8. In person interview (local) with sales manager in another division. 9. Phone consult with recruiting firm to schedule travel to Fuchs' headquarters in Harvey, IL. 10. In-person interview in Harvey, IL with hiring manager, HR manager, VP of sales, product manager, and another market manager. Mock sales presentation to several of the above. Also included lunch with hiring manager and product manager. Also included brief meeting with CEO (at the time). 11. Follow-up call with hiring manager regarding logistics and salary requirements about 2-3 days after the interview. 12. Offer received (email) one week after the in-person interview.
