While the team I met with was amazing and the work that this organization is doing is impressive in improving diversity on a global level, I was disappointed with how the interview process took place.
I applied with GP in late June 2022, after 4 interviews over the course of 7 weeks, I made it to my final interview. At the same time, I received an offer from another organization but was so passionate about GP that I chose to alert my recruiter to see if they would be making a decision by the time I had to send the other organization my acceptance. She informed that was not possible but that GP was very interested and asked if I could ask the other organization for an extension. While this felt risky, my interest really was with GP so I did just that. Despite having my final interview with GP over 2 weeks ago, and sending a follow-up email to the recruiter 4 days following said final interview, I have not only not been alerted to my applicant status but my recruiter never responded to my email. I understand you have many talented individuals but not only is this unprofessional but it is unkind to be non-responsive. Each time I interviewed, I took a half day off from my current employer, I researched the company and when the opportunity allowed, I researched the individuals I was interviewing with, "ghosting" an individual after making it to the final interview is incredibly disheartening.
Please treat your applicants like humans and not robots, they deserve better.
