I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at GE (Detroit, MI) in May 2015
Interview
Initial phone interview from a HR representative. She gathered general info based on a pre-screened set of questions and she took down notes and passed those along to the hiring manager. The HR manager contacted me back via e-mail and asked to setup a date and time for a phone interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager basically performed a full interview over the phone. If he was interested in meeting with you then the HR manager would setup a third interview where you would meet with them in person at their location.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at GE (Bengaluru) in Mar 2018
Interview
I had multiple round of interviews including written test and then followed telephonic, face to face with technical panel and also a Skype call with the US team lead. Everything went fine and I did well in all rounds. I was expecting their response. But they did not even have any courtesy to inform what happened. Pathetic HR and management.
