GE really has a great interview process. They are a well-oiled machine with many key players.
Phase 1: Recruiter call (approx 15-30 mins). This is where the most difficult questions are asked to vet whether you meet the qualifications or not.
Phase 2: Video call with hiring managers (approx. 1 hour). This was a very conversational interview to dive into the role and what is needed. They split the call so that each person had a one-on-one interview experience. It was refreshing and, dare I say, fun to speak with them.
Phase 3: Two video calls with various stakeholders (1 hour). First, I met with a senior attorney and an HR partner. Immediately after, I met with the VP/GC. These were also very conversational interviews to really get the chance to ask questions and dive into GE’s culture as a whole.
Even if I am not picked for the role, I truly think that this was a great experience to meet so many different people who really care about GE’s mission.
