I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GEICO (Macon, GA) in Sep 2015
Interview
There was a typing test and then a role play. The HR associate asked a few questions and was very nice. Afterwards I met with a woman that asked more questions and was apparently in charge of hiring. She discussed it with her team and offered me the job. It was a long drawn out process that essentially could've been completed over the course of three hours instead of 8.
Afterwards, the "nurse" there cut a chunk of my hair for drug screening. It wasn't noticeable afterwards since I have long thick hair but it was strange that they cut so much (approximately half an inch width) from your scalp. I came back for the GEICO 101 on my hire date and the rest is history.
It was great. They were very nice and professional. A very very good interview overall. It was my first interview inthe insurance world and it was a great introduction to the field.
Month long process and start format questions . Cognitive assessment was given as well. Not able to remember in which order. I also had a virtual interview with a nice lady who then offered me the job after the interview.
Easy, first you take a keyboard and personality test, Then you interview with a manager. After, they will send you either an offer letter or a letter advising over choosing other candidates.
