I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at GEICO (Portland, ME) in Oct 2015
Interview
The interview/hiring process began with a brief phone call with a HR rep explaining the basic requirements for the job, including hours, physical requirements, etc., then a time was scheduled to take a 'personality test' within the next couple of days. The test had two parts, the first of which you had to read a few brief sentences which were followed by questions related to what you just read. The next part displayed a number of blocks labeled by letters and you had to visually determine how many other blocks were touching the specified block. I didn't complete all of the questions in time but I still passed and proceeded to the next step, which was an in-person interview within a week. This consisted of a number of questions that reflect something you might endure while on the job, as well as questions about your previous experiences and how you might have dealt with a specific problem in a previous job or task. This seemed to go well and I was told by the interviewer that I would be contacted in a week for a final interview. I thought it had all went well, but I received an email within a few days that respectfully told me that I was not considered for the final job offer.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GEICO (Texas City, TX) in Dec 2024
Interview
I got an email from a recruiter after passing the assessment . That interview was just a complete run down of the job. Then had an interview with the actual manager she just asked questions about your history and some job related scenario questions. She didn’t give any hints you have to think on your feet. They will send you a video it’s 5 mins watch it and try to notice small things. Study what an adjuster does it will help answer scenario questions.
