I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at GNC in Jan 2019
Interview
Do not apply here really Save yourself the time and do some research. First of all I interviewed at another store with another store manager that should’ve been the first red flag after the interview I was told that I did a great job and that I would be hearing from them via text or email in TWO days , NOPE lol 👎🏽 Let me tell you what did happen, I sent maybe two or three emails to that manager who interviewed me finally called because I heard nothing was told again that I would hear back in a few days because he had to wait on the other store manager who is making his decisions Yep should’ve seen that as a red flag anyway I finally got agitated after almost 2 weeks of waiting and I called this location the wall in that location and I asked to speak to the hiring manager I got a guy on the phone you said “hmmm ummm...Hiring manager I guess I can help you “ I didn’t state the hassle that I have been going through the past two weeks of trying to figure out which I already knew but I just was not gonna let this go because it is so ridiculous to me that they are so on organized I cannot communicate with each other anyways I gave him the rundown and he goes oh the positions been filled so then I go on to tell him that it was very unprofessional of him that he couldn’t even give me a call back letting me know that I didn’t get the job which I was very confused about because the other manager made it seem like I had a pretty good chance. I don’t ever do that but I was just so fed up and I don’t want someone else to have to go through what I went through because it is already stressful enough trying to find a job nowadays and this a guy cannot apparently hold on employee there for more than a year yeah that was a definite red flag so just pay attention to when you were applying places and really look into it because you will save yourself a lot of unnecessary stress .
Very informal. I filled out an application and spoke with the store manager. It was very question and answer based, focused on experience and on hours. She let me know that I would be doing a lot of training on different products and asked about my comfort with that as well as selling items for commission.
Im writing this so I can see another companies reviews. Why does glassdoor make you do crap. 30 word minimum is too much come on now. Twinkle twinkle little star how i wonder what you are
Standard interview process. The interview was an one-on-one interview with the store manager. The interview took place in the back storeroom. The interview was completed within 30 minutes. There were no unique questions regarding the GNC products.
