What made it more difficult was the Director of Marketing Operations coming into the room disheveled and spewing off some general vague rhetoric about the role. She simply copy and pasted from the job listing to her mouth. And didn't answer my questions I had asked to other folks but got told that she would know. She didn't. Then she asked me if I had any questions. And continued to ask me if I had questions because of her lack of preparation as a pseudo-corporate leader. The real issue really showed itself when she condescendingly mocked the Live Well Foundation. It was bad form. Besides that, the project manager just talked about her husband the whole time and didn't know much about this role. The Copy Writing team definitely knew what was going on and what they needed from an editor. There was a small test to discuss your proofreading abilities. Some government standards were mentioned but that's not my background and they all except for the Director of Marketing Operations seemed to appreciate that.
