I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at GNC (Indianapolis, IN) in Apr 2013
Interview
I applied to the location when they weren't hiring, and received a call about a month later. Went in for the interview and it was done mostly by my local store manager, who asked me a lot of questions about myself, my goals, and how I would handle certain situations. Then, the regional manager came out and talked to me about the company itself and asked if I was still interested in the job.
Easy interview since the person really needed someone to hold the cashier position. All I had to prove was that I could do math and if I was available during the week.
Lied to during interview about bonus, never received any compensation. Non existent don’t count on getting anything other than hourly
Hourly pay is very low, not worth the effort due to manager responsibilities
The interview process was pretty straightforward and simple. If I might add, was very standard as well. Know a little about products and supplements, health and fitness, and you will be golden
