I was contacted to schedule an over-the-phone interview. I informed the interviewer via email that I'd be available immediately the following day for the over-the-phone interview. We set up a time that was convenient for her. The next day arrives and 3 minutes before my scheduled interview, I get an email saying the position was just filled right now. I missed out on an interview with another company because I scheduled this interview instead. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. Why continue to schedule interviews if you already chose a candidate?
