I applied online. I interviewed at GNC (Noblesville, IN) in Jun 2014
Interview
One interview in person with the hiring manager, and another phone interview with the regional manager. The immediate hiring manager vetted the applicant initially, and the regional manager confirmed that the applicant was appropriate for the position. There were't any strange, unanticipated questions, but I could tell that they wanted to make sure that I was motivated enough to do well in a sales environment one my own, since it is, by and large, a solitary position.
Easy interview since the person really needed someone to hold the cashier position. All I had to prove was that I could do math and if I was available during the week.
Lied to during interview about bonus, never received any compensation. Non existent don’t count on getting anything other than hourly
Hourly pay is very low, not worth the effort due to manager responsibilities
The interview process was pretty straightforward and simple. If I might add, was very standard as well. Know a little about products and supplements, health and fitness, and you will be golden
