I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GSK (Stevenage, England) in Sep 2022
Interview
Had a 15 minute remote HR screening call (do you have right to work, describe current role etc) then a 30 minute remote call with the team leader. Invited to attend the site for 4 hours and give a 20 minute presentation and have a panel interview. Then to meet the team for 30 minutes without the team leader, not sure what the point of this is and it was fairly awkward.
Panel interview was with the team leader, director and another team leader. Interview questions were competency based, majority not relevant to the science involved at all, which I found a bit grating.
Everyone was pleasant enough and made me feel at ease, wasn't offered the position and to be honest it was a bit annoying having to travel to present to the team. It could have been totally remote.
