The application process took a long time and was very frustrating. I submitted an online application and received an email that said I should hear back about getting an interview in 3 weeks. Almost 4 weeks passed, so I followed up and emailed them. They replied and said they’d email the next morning; I got it 2 days later. Since I got the offer so late, there were limited options for interview dates, and they all clashed with my schedule. I emailed about this situation back and forth for a week and a half. Eventually, I came in for the interview, and I was genuinely excited and very prepared. We got into groups with other candidates and a director and went through a camp day, and played games that we each prepared. I had fun, made them laugh, participated, and thought I had very good answers for my 1:1 interview, but I got rejected.
