I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gallup in Nov 2011
Interview
The process was really very easy and simple. The normal online application process + Psychometric test. The test aims to identify your strengths. If your strengths match their profile, you will be contacted to arrange for a phone interview. I got contacted within 5 working days of my online application to schedule a phone interview. I did 2 of them. The phone interviews include similar questions to those of the psychometric test (but more thorough) + very few generic questions about your technical skills. After 2 interviews i recieved a notification email that was not succesful. By the way, i compiled a list of all the questions posted here by all reviweres and I would say 85% of the questions came from that list. I highly recommend you review all the questions posted on this website and prepare as you are required to set examples and describe, the normal STAR interviewing thing. Overall the interview was average.

Question 1
do you prefer fixed salary or commission based salary?
The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gallup in Aug 2011
Interview
Gallup representative asked a series of questions and did not provide any feedback on responses. It is an awkward process but really pushes you to just give honest answers off the cuff. Thinking on your feet is great but your best bet here is to just be yourself and they will know if you are a good fit or not.
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gallup (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2010
Interview
From what I can remember, the process begins with an online assessment. If you pass the online assessment, then you continue on to take a modified StrengthsFinder online. Then a phone interview, which is part of the Selection tool that Gallup uses for hiring. It's unusual in the sense that the interview asks you a series of questions and you don't receive any feedback. Also, the interview is recorded. If you pass the phone interview, you go on to interview in person and/or via videoconference.
