      Brooklyn, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at GameStop (Brooklyn, NY) in Oct 2015

      Interview

The interview process was easy and very casual. I got hired on the spot. I actually got called to the gamestop in downtown for an interview and got a job offer there and once I reached home a gamestop that is walking distance to my house called and asked me to come for an interview also. So I got transferred to that gamestop and I currently am employed there. The interview was just asking me questions about myself.

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at GameStop

      Interview

Very selective, everyone and their mother will want to work there. Best thing is to get in tight with management, make your presence at midnight releases. A lot of the job has nothing to do with games, but more interaction based. Being a gamer will not get you this job! Having a broad, not extensive, knowledge of games, friendly disposition, and cooperative attitude.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The most difficult question was probably "how do you feel yourself fitting in with the employees and customers?"
