The process was two interviews, a group zoom call and then the second was a 1:1 that took place 2 days apart. The group zoom call was unique in that each person was given 2 minutes to anonymously give a 2 minute elevator pitch on why they were the best fit for the job with about 12 candidates on the call. The second round 1:1 was your normal conversational interview with about half from the first round making it through.
They mentioned that they wanted to move quickly and make a decision fast, but this was either a lie or the worst communication effort as it has been over 3 MONTHS and I have still yet to hear back. The communication between parties was nonexistent. The HR contact ignored all of my emails and the hiring manager ignored my first 2 followup emails after the second interview, finally getting back to me after a last ditch email saying he was "busy" and could catch up at 7 PM randomly. I said I couldn't but had time in the morning, and then never heard from them again.
Just recently I looked up the job title on LinkedIn and found someone new that was hired in January with the same role. Needless to say, I didn't get the job, but how they handled the process was the worst I have every experienced. Especially being someone who has been unemployed due to COVID-19 for nearly a year and had high hopes for a job after 2 great interviews.
All I can say is it left the worst taste in my mouth and gladly accepted another offer that came my way.
