It was incredibly long and taxing, and frankly I didn't like it very much at all. The first part was ok, just a typical video interview and some analytical questions. The second part was a standard behavioral interview with a recruiter, and that was normal as well. However, the second part involved a 8-10 hour project that did not even guarantee a spot to the final interview. It ended up being a huge waste of time, and given students are already busy with all the work on their plate, a very stressful process overall. I would definitely not recommend this interview process at all. It was unnecessarily long and would truly detract away from people who were interested in the company. I would much rather go somewhere else that values my time rather than spend so much of it on a process that didn't even make me feel very valued. It kind of makes sense why Gap as a company is on the downhill.
