I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner (Fort Myers, FL) in Aug 2015
Interview
I was approached by Gartner at a sales competition and reached back out when I was looking for employment. I had two phone interviews before being invited to an invitational day, where there were about 40 candidates flown in to interview. The invitational day lasted about 9 hours and consisted of two rounds. The first was a group interview and brief presentation. After that they cut about half the people and prepared us for panel interviews and role plays. It was challenging and tiring but the entire staff was transparent about what they were looking for, what they wanted to see and how to be successful.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to make a difficult decision and how you did it.
They have reached out to me for a job every year and I have interviewed with them 2 times and have never made it past the 1st interview. Confused why a recruiter reaches out to me anymore?
It was long and rigorous, often feeling extremely high pressure, with not a lot of constructive criticism. There are 5 rounds and each with a role-play. It's safe to say this is not an easy interview process. I'm not sure how they do their prospecting, but I was apparently a 'great fit' for the role - didn't show that enthusiasm during our calls.
Intensive - multiple rounds led by a recruiter. Expect 2 rounds of role play, around 4 rounds total. 2 with a recruiter, one with a lead skills expert and another panel with VPs and hiring managers.
