I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gartner in Oct 2018
Interview
he recruitment process takes place in 4 steps:
- 45 minutes discovery call with a 1st recruiter
- 1h sales simulation/behavioral questions over the phone with a 2d recruiter
- 1h video call: sales simulation/behavioral questions with a 3rd recruiter
- 1h30 face to face interview (panel) with one of the previous recruiter, a manager, and ther VP Sales in the Barcelona office
It was the best recruitment process I have experienced so far. Indeed, it was quick as I went through the different steps in about 4 weeks. Moreover, it is well organized and smooth: every stage finishes with a clear next step. The recuritment process is very similar to a sales process. The agenda for every step is clear and I received regular feedback. As a candidate, you are asked to implement the feedback you received to the next step when you progress through the process. I was guided by Marta Pinyol who followed me all the time. She gave me great feedback that I could implement to improve at every stage, and she coached me before my last interview. She was a good support during the process.
Avoid this interview process at all costs. It felt like nothing more than a data gathering exercise rather than a genuine hiring effort. Every single round was conducted by a recruiter — I never spoke with an actual hiring manager or team member. A complete waste of time and effort. I would not recommend applying.

Interview
It was okay. Two interviews, phone call and zoom. Zoom was a bit weird all very feedback approached. Had to do a role play of a cold call, which I do everyday to someone who has no cold calling experience so not sure that’s the best judge
