I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Gartner (Minneapolis, MN) in Apr 2021
Interview
The recruiter reached out via LinkedIn. Very nice conversation with the first recruiter. Moved onto the next recruiter who was in charge of filling two types of sales roles. I was sent a lot of information about the company and the role in advance of the interview. They tout "constructive feedback", however, I was really disappointed that when I asked for feedback during the interview and afterwards via email, I did not receive it. In fact, I did not get a response to any questions I asked post-interview, even after the recruiter offered to answer any questions via email. Very disappointing. Instead, I received an automated email from Gartner that I was not going to be moving forward with the position. The position in the automated email was not even the one discussed during the interview. I was excited about the company, but this experience has completely changed my view on what it might actually be like on working there.

Question 1
Describe your work history and accomplishments/quota attainment.
Made it to the last of several grueling rounds of interviews. After receiving no constructive criticism/negative feedback, I wasn’t extended an offer. No one could tell me why. Leads me to think they had already picked someone for the job before I even interviewed.
Quite a long process - well organised and mapped out with several behavioural questions taking majority of the time. Overall I found the process very different to previous companies with Gartner very keen to show you are following their prompts in the prep material.
