The interview process was clear and support was given at every step. Gartner provided fast feedback after each step (keep track of everything that has been said!), highlighting how to be successful also on next steps. The overall process consisted of 3 phone interviews and one on-site assessment:
1. First call was more about why I appied for the role and generally informal. However, even at this stage, it is important to have a clear view of what Gartner is, but mostly why you want to work in sales.
2. The second step was a one hour phone call assessing the four Gartner traits, why sales, why Gartner, and then a short role play to understand your curiosity by asking relevant questions.
3. The third step is a one and a half hour call with a structure similar to the previous one, here the role play is 15 minutes.
4. During the assessment the structure of the interview is again generally similar to the previous ones, the role-play here is 20 minutes and the "case" is given to you in advance so you can prepare.
Generally, I belive it is important to be curious and ask questions, keep track of all the feedback you have been given as you will be questioned on it and assessed on your ability to learn from the feedback given. Besides, really be sure of what it means to work in sales and why you are best suited for a career in sales. Last but not least, try and answer questions following a STAR method, being concise, structured, and direct.
As a last tip I would suggest also reaching out to someone who is currently working in the company, as current employees are generally supportive and helpful and can help you prepare by answering your questions.
