      Channel Manager Interview

      Dec 10, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gemalto in Nov 2015

      Interview

I responded to posting on LinkedIn and once they had seen my profile, I was called by the hiring manager who was quite excited as I looked to be a great fit. We met the next day. The hiring manager and HR were present during the interview. The interview process was straightforward and easy, however, as it progressed, it seemed like the role was more for someone with less experience, nevertheless, it was good to make two new contacts. After about 10 days, I sent a quick email to check on the status, and was promptly sent back a reply from HR that they had found a more suitable candidate. I called the HR person to clarify a couple of questions on why I was not selected, for my own benefit as it's always good to know where I may have been lacking from their perspective. Unfortunately, he never called back. I then called the Hiring Manager, who offered to provide more explanation, but would call back later as he was currently busy, though he never called back either...
