I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Genentech (South San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2017
Interview
I applied through a recruiting company. They scheduled a phone interview with the hiring manager in a very short time. The hiring manager was really nice. He asked me a lot of behavior questions, and then went through my resume briefly (not in detail). I got the chance to have an onsite interview in the afternoon at the same day. The hiring manager and the team leader interviewed me at Genentech. They were both really nice. Half of the interview was behavior questions and experience details. The next half was to discuss the work content to see if I can ask good questions. So be prepared!

The business partners asked several questions relating to their specific business area, clearly reflecting their specific current challenges, wanting to know how I would solve those issues.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Genentech (South San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2018
Interview
Interview was in depth, more of a "You interview Us" method. Lated 2 1/2 hours very positive. However the Job was not all they made it out to be. Very poor onboarding, Lack luster engagement by the team, poor communications. And no mechanism to raise alarm over operations issues created by weak ill advised solutions. I was expected to just go along to get along. Very unacceptable, and destructive to the Patient Access mission.
