I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Genentech (South San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
Online recorded video interview with questions (3-5), gives you a minute to think about the question and up to three minutes to respond. Then in person interview with two supervisors that lasted about 30 minutes. Not too difficult.
Only one panel interview with several behavioral questions. It’s ok to take time between reading the question & responding. It helps to anchor to the main points in the job posting for examples
Biased and played favorites. They do not care about qualifications and quality of work. You get preferences if you have family/friends who are full time. Very unfair unorganized process overall.
