Genentech Software Engineer Intern interview questions

Applied with a referral and have previously interned with the company. The hiring manager reached out and scheduled a phone screen, which I felt went super well. After following up, I was told they needed another week to finalize panel interviews, but then I was completely ghosted. Four weeks later, I finally received an automated rejection. Really disappointed by the long delays and lack of any feedback whatsoever.
