The process took 2 days. I interviewed at General Dynamics Information Technology in Jan 2008
Interview
For an entry level position for which my undergraduate education was an excellent match for - My resume was submitted by a friend who worked for the company and came with a strong endorsement which helped greatly. The hiring manager called me directly to discuss the type of position available and duties and setup an interview. I interviewed with the hiring manager who was exceptionally hospitable and really made me feel at ease from the outset, along with two team leads who were closer to the work I would be doing and more familiar with the technological knowledge needed to succeed. I was genuinely a good match for the position and they were quick to realize this. Thankfully, there were no odd interview tactics or bizarre head-games... Just good people, who I later enjoyed working with on the job.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at General Dynamics Information Technology (Washington, DC) in Aug 2016
Interview
Very efficient. I interfaced with the recruiter for the area first and he was the person who asked me about my background, my qualifications, and my expected salary. Afterwards, I was interviewed over the phone by a team leader who asked me more in depth questions. He determined I was suited for the job, so I got a call back from the recruiter, discussed salary and I was presented with an official job offer.
