I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at General Dynamics Mission Systems
Interview
Very laid back interview, it was more of a conversation. It was not a lot of technical questions and it seemed like the interviewer was more interested in getting to know me.
Applied online with their application. Had a department manager call me for my phone interview. Received an offer letter within 2 weeks. Security clearance process takes a bit of time.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at General Dynamics Mission Systems (Scottsdale, AZ) in Mar 2011
Interview
Had a behavioral interview on-campus at ASU. Interview started out with filling out a skills worksheet rating abilities in technical areas such as various coding languages, circuit design, etc from 1 to 5. I mistakenly marked low values for most things, thinking I was being honest. I consider a 5 to be an experienced engineer. They said they were interviewing 15-20 people and would bring 10-12 in for technical interviews. They said I would hear back in 2 weeks. I never heard back and neither did 2 of my friends that also interviewed. If it helps any my GPA is 3.8.
