The candidates who were there for the interview were 5, while there was only 1 interviewer. The interview lasted for more than an 1h while the interviewer went on 'boasting' about the company for nearly 2/3 of the interview which gave the interviewees and him barely any time to know about each other. Wasn't quite able to understand why he would go on and on about how great their company is in front of the people who already have an interest in the brand. Not sure how he got to assess who was the most adequate for the job. It was also obvious that the interviewer didn't review our resumes. It seemed like he had an answer in mind whenever he asked a question as he remarked things like, 'Oh, I was looking for a more original idea.', 'Frankly, there wasn't anyone who gave me the answer I wanted to hear.', etc. He said it was a position which requires a fluent English speaker while the entire interview was conducted fully in Korean. It was an exhausting experience, and as someone who has been an interviewer and interviewee, I thought it could have been constructed in a much more productive way.
