The interview process was very disorganized and unprofessional. I reached out to the job poster on LinkedIn. I guess the supervisor posted the job instead of HR. I cold messaged, hoping to hear back with a job interview. I was contacted and told to schedule a meeting under the supervisor's calendar. I booked an interview at an available time only to be ghosted. The supervisor made it seem like it was my fault for booking the interview then. It was a federal holiday the day right before my interview, but there was an availability on their calendar. After waiting about 15 minutes, I emailed to withdraw my application. We rescheduled for the following week. I log onto Zoom two minutes before the interview, only to see the supervisor hosting another meeting. I waited about 10 to 15 minutes and checked my email, trying to send a final withdrawal message, only to see that the supervisor was asking if I would log on. I sent them a strongly worded message that they ghosted me twice and sent a screenshot to prove that I was in the waiting room. The supervisor ended up asking if I would log back on, and I was able to speak with them. I did feel a little inexperienced, considering my lack of experience in paid media, but eventually heard back from HR to do an interview in person. I've decided not to attend because the whole experience was so demeaning, and I do not want to work with someone who takes so little care and consideration of my time. The job has been taken down and reposted two or three times now. I can only hope but wish for the best for whoever ends up taking on the role.
