I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Georgia-Pacific in Nov 2020
Interview
I applied for the position online and the next day, received a 30 minute phone screen invitation from a recruiter. The recruiter explained both the position and the company; she also asked questions about my experience and career interest. I was told that they’re were trying to fill the position quickly and the next step would be a interview with the hiring manager (if selected to move on). My interview was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving; therefore, I was told that I would hear something earlier next week.
The following Monday, I received a generic email thanking me for my interest and interview; however I was not selected to move forward in the process. I was disappointed as I thought I did a great job and I thought there was a misunderstanding, as I thought I would hear from the recruiter (not a generic no reply email). It would have been great to hear from the recruiter as I would have liked to have received feedback.
