      Administrative Assistant Interview

      Jul 1, 2010
      Anonymous employee
      Los Angeles, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Girl Scouts USA (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2010

      Interview

They contacted me from a resume I gave to one of their recruiters for volunteers and emailed me to ask me for an interview. My initial interview was with the HR person, then I was asked to interview with the person I would be working under. Both interviews took over an hour each. Then the person who I would be working under asked me in for a third interview because he/she felt rushed. This should have been a warning signal to me, because obviously this person acted very stressed about filling the position and very stressed in general.

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Girl Scouts USA (New York, NY)

      Interview

Two interviews and one phone interview. All happened within 2 weeks. Didn’t get position. I was more qualified than the other candidate that received the job and I volunteered for organization. This has turned me off of entire organization they don’t stand by their own principles. Interviews were behavioral based.

Quick and easy to the point. Very basic questions. GS were very responsive in contacting me with next steps. Total 4 weeks from beginning to end to complete. They were very apologetic to me when the position status changed. I was recommended for another position. No word yet on that job.
