I was asked to come to the Eatontown office in New Jersey. Make no mistake, this place is an interview factory. From the front vestibule you enter a door on the right, and when you leave you come out the door on the left, so as not to inform the others about what goes on. Three minutes after I signed in, there were twenty some-odd people waiting. I was brought to an office in the back of the building by a gentleman only a few years older than I. He explained that the company mainly marketed to blue-collar union workers, and that I would essentially be cold-calling for sales, with the possibility of being moved up to a management position of my performance rated high enough. This is the same offer every insurance company makes for this type of position, and I told him this. The pay is commission based, and after letting him explain the job in full, I informed him that he had nothing to offer me and asked to be escorted from the building. This is mainly a place that uses recent college grads and individuals who have searching for work for some time.
