I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (Salt Lake City, UT) in Nov 2011
Interview
I was selected to go to SLC for a leadership symposium, and then interviewed for positions in finance and operations. My interview for finance was in the credit division and I interviewed with two people. Questions there ranged from behavioral to technical questions such as if you were allowed to have either a BS, IS or CFS which one would you chose. I got put on hold and eventually didn't get an offer. Then, for my ops interviews, I had two interviews with two people each. They were mainly all behavioral. I got asked back for a second round in SLC and had two very similar interviews again. I ended up not getting an offer as well. Oh well, GS is conceded.

Interview
My Superday consisted of three back‑to‑back 20‑minute Zoom interviews. Each interviewer was warm, direct, and focused on understanding how I think, communicate, and approach operational problems. The process was well‑organized, with clear instructions and smooth transitions between meetings. Questions centered on teamwork, ownership, process improvement, and how my past experiences prepared me for Operations. Overall, it felt structured, conversational, and professionally run.

Interview
4 30 minute interviews back to back, never asked me if the times they selected for me were ok, just had to accept that it would be in the middle of the day.
Asked me basic questions like how do I handle difficult situations and what kind of worker I am. Super easy tbh. It’s completely a personality interview, not any questions about experience in specific concepts, for example ability to use excel.
