Interview
I come from a non-finance major, and the position I applied for was open to all majors, I went to two campus events and heard good things about the company, so I applied online. I then did on campus interviews (and the day before I attended a pre-interview training) there were two back-to-back 30 minute interviews with two different managers at the same time (for a total of four). About two weeks later I was invited to go up to the Salt Lake office, and it was again two back-to-back 30 minute interviews, two at a time, for a total of four.
All the questions were mostly personality questions. How you work in a team, how you handle ethical dilemmas etc.

Make sure you have a story about what you did when you encountered an ethical dilemma. Also, be prepared to talk about "Why apply to Goldman Sachs", "Why operations?". Make sure to study up on how to answer those questions.

To the point people, warm attitude yet quick to the Q&A. Share background, why ops, why location? Speak well and be confident. Be prepared for a random phone call, if you miss the call prepare a good voicemail for when you call back.

My Superday consisted of three back‑to‑back 20‑minute Zoom interviews. Each interviewer was warm, direct, and focused on understanding how I think, communicate, and approach operational problems. The process was well‑organized, with clear instructions and smooth transitions between meetings. Questions centered on teamwork, ownership, process improvement, and how my past experiences prepared me for Operations. Overall, it felt structured, conversational, and professionally run.

Had inital phone call with hiring manager and was then invited in to the office for a 3 round interview. Interview with hiring manager and team member with normal competency based questions, second round with senior manager which was general conversation and talking about past experience and last interview with 4 analysts from different team talking about career. Hiring manager never came back to me with a response at all.
