Applied via oncampus recruiting for the NYC office. It's a 7-person department so didn't expect to get an offer. They rarely hire if at all. Better off applying for a larger department.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Goldman Sachs (New York, NY)
Interview
Only received an interviewer after networking + referral. They let you know if you received a referral. HireVue --> straight to Superday. In the interview had to know a lot about the firm and banking technicals. Did not ask Why Goldman.

Question 1
Lots of behaviorals (ex. strengths/weaknesses, what makes you different than other applicants). Technicals (ex. most important financial statement for a bank opposed to companies). I recruited for IB and these technicals were more intense than other IB company interviews.
