Interview
The interview process was expedited, and the interviewer exhibited unprofessional and discourteous behavior. Furthermore, an unrealistic scenario was presented, with an expectation of an exact, pre-determined response. I was wondering whether the interviewer was too much exhausted or was not in a mood to take the interview.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google
Interview
1st round with recruiter, 2nd round with hiring manager, 3rd-4th rounds with skip level manager or key stakeholders. Questions tend to focus on past achievements and framed around the STAR methodology.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Google
Interview
In about a month got contacted by an HR person asking to schedule an interview. I picked the time and she called on time. The connection was VERY bad and there was so much noise in the background that I could not even hear myself speak. I asked the HR person to mute, which was the only way to answer the question I could barely hear.
Nothing special, all was a talk about myself. Two days later "thank you but no"
