I went through a phone screen and four formal rounds, interviewing with the hiring manager as well as several cross-functional stakeholders. On the technical side, the accounting questions were pretty manageable. However, the leadership questions felt a bit tricky, and it wasn't entirely clear what specific experiences the interviewer was looking for. I ended up receiving an offer, but because they downleveled the position, I decided to decline
