I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Goosehead Insurance (Austin, TX) in Jun 2026
Interview
I was interviewed by 3 men, and one of them did not give me a space to say my piece. He would go into too much detail on how the team has struggled in the past with getting high-quality employees. He was pretty aggressive with hinting that I would not be competitive, and it felt a little sexist. I would go into more detail about past experiences that prove why I am motivated and a hard worker, but he would not listen and would continue to rant on and on about his work at another company. This company felt disorganized compared to other companies I am actively interviewing with, and while the recruiters were nice, the sales managers could improve their hiring process.

Interview
Great overall experience. Recruiter was a really nice lady and made the process overall a very smooth one. Didn't take the job due to other issues but overall very professional recruiters staff
