I applied through LinkedIn and I got an invite to interview the next day. The time stamp on the email invite for the interview was 9:45pm, I should’ve taken that as a red flag. The interview was only 8 minutes long. The recruiter spent the entire time talking about the history of the company and then pivoted to ask me my job experience. She literally went down my resume and only asked me to describe my duties at each job. After that she asks me if I have questions. It was so short and I didn’t realize we were ending so I almost said no. I asked 3 job related questions and the recruiter couldn’t answer any of them. A few days later I got an email that they were not moving forward with me. I don’t feel that the interviewer asked me enough questions to get to know me as a potential employee.
