The interview process was straightforward. The hiring manager reached out via email and we scheduled the initial phone screen. Had a phone screen with the hiring manager right before the holidays, so there was a pause over the holidays. We resumed first week of January when I was sent some data to put together a presentation with my insights. After the presentation, in-person interview was scheduled. Had 5 30-minute interview sessions back-to-back at the Chicago office which was intense but I thought they went well. From start to finish, it was about 6 weeks. They extended an offer but the salary was lower than what we discussed in the initial phone screen which I pointed out. They gave a number and said they were firm on that which I agreed to. I asked if they offered sign-on bonuses and the next call I got was to inform me that they were rescinding their offer because we were "just too far apart". I don't know what that means, and I never will because while they told me to reach out to their HR rep if I had any questions, I never got a single response from them. So definitely do not get comfortable with an offer from them as you could potentially get it snatched away
