I interviewed a total of 8 times. This included three separate days of interviews and then a fourth day, which included 5 different interviews back to back totaling 2.5 hours. So much time and effort on my behalf was put into the experience, and then in the end, I didn't hear anything from them for 2 days until I reached out to them. All that I was told was that they went with another candidate. After that extensive process, it took me reaching out to them to hear I didn't get selected for the role. The only feedback I received was that the other candidate's experience aligned better for what they were looking for. You'd think they could have figured that out after the third interview. Eight interviews to decide that my experience didn't align seemed excessive.
