Initially, I was invited to an online HR interview. The interviewer was nice and friendly, and everything went well. In the second round, I was scheduled for a technical interview. After three rescheduled dates, I finally met with a lady who was working from India. She seemed quite tired and uninterested. She didn’t introduce herself or prepare any interview materials. Instead, she simply read through my CV and asked questions that came to mind. Some of her questions were unrelated to the position I had applied for and focused instead on skills listed in my CV.
I admit I couldn’t answer some of her questions, but I responded to at least 60% of them. I find her final evaluation of me as a T0 level quite unfair and disappointing. At the end of the interview, I asked some questions about the working environment and management style at Grid Dynamics. She replied that I could ask these questions to the project manager if I were accepted. I felt this was not a polite way to conclude an interview.
