I am unsure why this company has so many positive reviews about its interview process, especially when my experience was quite the opposite. It seems they may have a different, more respectful approach toward candidates in the West, compared to those from Poland.
I was first contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn about a Full-Stack Engineer position in their Krakow office. Although I generally avoid software houses, I decided to give it a try. I explained to the recruiter that my backend skills were limited due to the nature of my current projects, but she assured me this was fine.
The technical interview lasted 1.5 hours. The first interviewer with strong English skills, asked questions about Java and backend topics. I couldn't answer many of these due to my limited backend experience, but he remained polite and respectful throughout.
The second interviewer, however, was very impolite and arrogant. His approach was completely unprofessional, bordering on rude. His low level of English and strong accent made it difficult to understand some of his questions, and when I asked him to repeat them, his attitude became increasingly disrespectful. Despite answering around 90% of his React and JavaScript questions correctly, his behavior grew worse with every correct answer.
He then asked me to implement a React component — a search bar with a dropdown, fetching options from an abstract API — using an IDE that didn’t even support React development properly. When I successfully completed the task, his demeanor became even more hostile.
After this uncomfortable experience, I was "ghosted" by the company with no follow-up or feedback.
Overall, this experience left a very negative impression on me. The professionalism of one interviewer was completely overshadowed by the rudeness of the other, and being ghosted afterward only confirmed my decision to look elsewhere.
