How do you handle completing tasks asked of people from different ranks?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Guaranteed Rate (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Called by a recruiter for a brief phone interview first, then he contacted me again to set up an in-person interview with a hiring manager. Before the in person interview I also had to fill out a form for a background check (although I do not believe they ended up running a check on me). Interview was roughly 30 minutes long and very easy. Standard interview questions asked. However he subtly made it obvious that there would be no work/life balance. I had given my minimum salary to the recruiter and he did not appear to relay that to the hiring manager as the offered salary was considerably lower than my minimum. It seemed like they were just desperate to get a warm body to fill the position.
