Had a pleasant experience with the HR screening call and got emailed asking my availability for a video interview. HR person didn’t get back to me about scheduling the interview, but I got a surprise video call from an upper management employee the following day while at my current job—I was thankfully in a position to sit down and take the call but I definitely was not my best. I would think it is common courtesy to at least tell a candidate when they should expect a call? The interviewer did not seem to know what to ask and mostly talked about the position and company.
I was told I’d hear from them within a few days, and I did not. I emailed a follow-up after a week of silence, but that has also been ignored for nearly two weeks now.

I applied for this position via LinkedIn as my qualifications fit the job description. I heard back right away from a National Recruiter, Brenda, and we set up a time to talk. She called and asked me to give a BRIEF run down of my background. I did and then she told me I was not fit for the job and she did not ask me any questions, assumed I was not what this position needed and perhaps my resume could be passed somewhere else. Our conversation last 6 minutes and honestly I am glad that I dodged that bullet. Now I don't have to work at a company that would pay me below industry standards to be a glorified secretary.
