Question 1
What experience lex you to believe you will be successful in the role?
I applied online. I interviewed at Guaranteed Rate (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2020
Interview
The interview process overall was simple. I had an initial phone conversation with the recruiter then with a divisional operation manager. The divisional operations manager provided an email with the initial offer, mentioned a few times over the phone that this was the initial offer and that they expected some negotiation to take place. When providing my counter offer, it took weeks to hear back with very little compromise. When I received the written offer, there was a stipulation that could have potentially affected a large majority of the entire compensation package that was never communicated. If looking to work at this company, make sure to read every line in your written offer letter. In regards to the entire process, it took over 2+ months to "negotiate" and receive a written offer from the initial informal one.
