I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Guidepoint (New York, NY) in Apr 2021
Interview
I found the interview process to be very very extensive. I have had a total of 7 interviews one overnight project and was asked to complete another final overnight project followed by another final interview. The interview process lasted over a month. I found it quite frustrating when they kept restructuring the interview process, where I had to go through multiple “final” interviews.
The overnight project consists of a current drug in the market or in the pipeline— breaking-out pain points; creating a structure of questions to guide the interviewer through. Not very difficult if you are familiar with doctor calls and pharma research.

Question 1
What is something about you that isn’t captured on your resume?
The interview was quite lengthy. The TA screen lasted over 30 minutes, which was unnecessary. The person from the Talent Acquisition team kept speaking non-stop without giving a chance to respond or ask questions — it felt overwhelming.
The first round interview was conducted online via video call. The atmosphere wasn’t bad. I occasionally got some “what if” questions. But I was asked “Do you have any questions?” about five times.

Question 1
They asked how I would handle multiple tasks at once.
The process is typically structured in stages that allow you to engage with different team members, giving you a well-rounded understanding of the role and the team dynamic. You'll have the chance to ask insightful questions, demonstrate your expertise, and explore how you can contribute to the company’s success.
Overall, the interview is a constructive and positive experience, helping both parties make an informed decision about moving forward together.
